Third episode, and to mix it up a little I’ve gone for something a little more recent with the infallible decay of The French Connection. It’s such a clever picture – efficient action delicately laced with the artistic degradation of a crime-ridden New York City. If you don’t fancy a listen just click here for the orthodox read.

Stick with me, boys and girls! The blog will be back up and running one day, I assure you!

The Awesome Bleakness Of The French Connection Over-The-Shoulder Podcast

This happens to be a great film, yet also an action film, yet also with a deep, dark message. How? In the modern age, it’s sad that all of those are basically exclusive from one another. 2. Looks good. I’ll have a listen. Adore the sordid backdrop and those streets and bars. So gritty. Then the contrast of 21 and the 3 Degrees. So beautifully done. H

I can’t listen to too much of the American robot, but I do have a lot of time for that excellent film.

    1. That’s one hell of a montage, befitting of one hell of a film. Where’d you stumble over that one? You forget how brilliant some of FC’s parched humour is.
