I hope you’re sitting comfortably, because the quiz returns! My apologies for the lack of one last week – hopefully this’ll be good enough to make up for it. Let’s clarify something: no one likes walking. Or standing, for that matter. Is the chair the greatest creation of all time? Maybe, so it’s just about time to do a quiz appreciating them. Just guess the the film or TV series from the picture. Enjoy!

  1. sopantooth says:

1 – Sweeney Todd, the Demon of Fleet Street
2 – Game of Thrones, I quit watching the show before it was cool to hate it, I wonder what scene that is, must be a dream
    3 – The Matrix
    4 – 2001 a Space Odyssey
    5 – The Conversation
    6 – Men in Black
7 – One of the X-Men movies but I don’t know which one, looks like the Young X-Men Adventures so I’ll say First Class
8 – I, Robot – I had a shirt that said “3 Laws Safe” on it, even amongst my fellow nerds very few people got it
    9 – Raising Arizona
    10 – Don’t know
11 – One of the Thor movies, but which one?
12 – Tron 2, They de-aged the crap out of Jeff Bridges for this, but they just made Tron a dude with a helmet on. Bruce Boxleitner wasn’t worth de-aging. The movie wasn’t good regardless but that bugs me.
13 – You Only Live Twice
    14 – Don’t know
15 – Let’s see, must be Return of the King?
    16 – Wall-E
17 – Lucky Number Slevin, almost a really good movie
    18 – Miller’s Crossing
    19 – Foxcatcher
    20 – Don’t know
    21 – Don’t know
    22 – A Clockwork Orange
    23 – Don’t know
    24 – Don’t know
    25 – Poltergeist
I really fell off there at the end, some day I’m going to win that car. The winner does get a 1987 Buick Grand National right?

    1. Impressive! By my count, that’s 17 points! Another excellent score, my friend. I’m afraid you don’t win a Grand National, but instead a classic ’57 Chevy! It’s a beautiful thing…

11 is Thor (2011), probably not the most remarkable film, so understandable you didn’t get it!

What a cool quiz, but that was so hard! I could name only about 9 of them. Ok, I guessed Sweeney Todd, obviously, The Matrix (who would not?), The Conversation, I, Robot (easy), Raising Arizona, The Lord of the Rings, Poltergeist, Thor, Monsieur Hulot one, Playtime, probably, or Mon Oncle? I can’t recall. But 13? What James Bond is that? Perhaps the Goldfinger? I don’t know. 22 was the hardest for me, I still don’t know, and I have not seen 16 or 23.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Well played! By my count you’ve 9 out of 9 – it was indeed Playtime (not Mon Oncle). 13 is a James Bond: You Only Live Once! 22 is tough – my clue is that it’s a Kubrick…
